About me
My vibrant Real Estate career started in 1992 when I was presented with the opportunity to study Town & Regional Planning full-time at the University of Pretoria (UP). Accordingly observing the need for Town & Regional Planners to also have a robust legal background beyond Environmental Law, I pursued a part-time LLB degree immediately after completing the full-time Town & Regional Planning degree at UP.
Whilst being full-time employed as a Town Planner for the former Randburg Town Council, I attended evening classes at the University of Pretoria and eventually completed my LLB degree through UNISA in 2004. During my part time studies, I was briefly and contractually employed by several corporates and involved with various interesting projects including but not limited to Africa Telecom ’98, Cell C Tender within Siemens, Dealership Training roll-out program for Daimler Crysler South Africa and IDP/LDO workshops and training for the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development.
My employment journey evolved into being employed full-time as a Property Manager for the National Department of Public Works in the beautiful Province of Mpumalanga, where I was given the opportunity to complete a LLM degree in Property Law through UNISA in 2009 and involved with various key projects including the Nelspruit High Court, Lebombo Border Post and Camden Power Station etc. Notably, I was admitted as an Advocate in 2007, prior to registering as a professional Town and Regional Planner with SACPLAN in 2010.
My unique blend of qualifications and career experience spans both the Public and Private Sectors, covering town planning, project management, law, rural development, property management, etc. as well as community involvement, establishment of the Mbombela Rate Payers Association, Radio Presenter at a Community Radio Station and initiating the Garden Route Pelgrimstog van Hoop.
After briefly exploring the Financial Services Sector as a Financial Advisor and Planner at Concept Wealth (SANLAM), I returned to Real Estate with an excellent career opportunity presented by EXP South Africa.
I am accordingly well-positioned to offer comprehensive Real Estate Professional Services within the complex Property Law and Real Estate Environments under SPLUMA (Spatial Planning and Land Use Management Act 16 of 2013), as well as Estate Planning Services.
