came from an intimate, long term connection with and knowledge of the City
of Coral Gables and its rich historic architectural heritage.
City founder George Merrick‘s dream to mold his family's land into the perfect,
totally planned city-within-a-city became reality when he traveled to Spain and
saw how cultural, architectural and environmental influences, along with a
distinct richness of style, merged to create the greater whole.
This is the foundation upon which Giralda Place has been based. Rich authentic
natural materials assembled intelligently and with purpose bring a sense of
place to the street and city, defining the character of a vibrant, urban, pedestrian-
